Why HTMA
What a Hair Mineral Analysis Reveals
HTMA is a scientific test that measures the mineral content of your hair. Because hair stores minerals and toxic metals over time, it provides a long-range view of your body’s internal environment at the cellular level.
Minerals guide hundreds of enzymatic reactions in the body. When they are imbalanced or displaced by toxic metals, symptoms develop. HTMA can uncover imbalances that contribute to conditions such as depression, headaches, thyroid disorders, digestive issues, cardiovascular concerns, arthritis, skin rashes, allergies, hyperactivity, anemia, and more.
Why Hair Testing Is More Accurate Than Blood or Urine
Blood tests reflect only a moment in time and can be influenced by meals or temporary fluctuations. Urine tests measure what the body excretes, not what the tissues store.
Hair, however, can show mineral patterns and toxic metal retention over several months. Toxic metals can be two hundred to three hundred times more concentrated in hair than in blood or urine. This makes hair the ideal tissue for detecting metals like arsenic, aluminum, cadmium, lead, antimony, and mercury.
